Who are we?

Logistic-natives e.V. is an international logistics infrastructure network for modern retail, composed primarily of small and medium-sized enterprises. The association actively represents the economic and legal interests of more than 30,000 companies in the industry.

In this context, logistic-natives e.V. primarily supports companies in advancing their digital transformation and the delivery of merchandise through digital communication channels, with a focus on delivery optimization, sustainability, life-cycle management, circular logistics, and returns management.

With its pragmatic expertise, the network serves as a point of contact for representatives from politics, government, the business community, and other institutions to develop national and international solutions for modern commerce. In doing so, logistic-natives e.V. relies on a broad network and collaborative partnerships.

The network will regularly report on trends and news in express logistics and serve as the leading advocate and point of contact for the industry’s interests. In doing so, it will work closely and collaboratively with established industry associations. To give you an initial impression of some of the association’s areas of focus, below is a brief overview of current topics: access to the Universal Postal Network, evaluation of EU postal legislation, and addressing consumer needs in the movement of goods.

– A reliable partner for knowledge transfer regarding technological innovations: trends, technical and digital developments, national laws, and EU directives
– Best practices through moderated exchanges of experience among members on industry-relevant topics and current trends
– Organization of trade shows, informational events, colloquia, seminars, study tours, and similar events
– Commissioning and conducting valid studies
– Certification and auditing of the implementation of standards-compliant, technical, and message-specific standards (e.g., XML, EDI interfaces)
